Training in an International Airport with VPS Verkehrspilotenschule Berlin

Training at the flight training organization VPS Verkehrspilotenschule Berlin takes place exactly where you have to perform as a professional pilot: an international airport. Already at your first lesson in Berlin-Schönefeld Airport, you will share the same runway as your future colleagues at Airbus and Boeing and be a partner in the same system. You are fully integrated within the 24 hour airport schedule and have access to precision approaches on each runway. Training is permitted day and night and in most weather conditions thereby reducing the length of training required. This flight training takes place on one of the most modern simulators by the French manufacturer Alsim equipped with an original Garmin G1000 class cockpit and a 180° visual system as well as airplanes manufactured by Cessna, Piper and Beechcraft. Every experienced flight instructor holds a Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot License and in most cases has instructed thousands of flight hours. VPS Verkehrspilotenschule at Berlin-Schönefeld Airport is a twenty-minute drive from Berlin’s city center and can alternately be easily reached by public transport. Theoretical knowledge is provided during the course of study with compulsory attendance. Your teachers are experts in their respective fields: meteorology, power plant design engineering, air traffic control, etc.

To date our team of instructors have supported over 300 students with successful alumni going on to join major airlines like Lufthansa, airberlin, dba, Tyrolian, Germania, Ryanair, easyJet, etc. as well as other firms such as Rolls Royce and Airbus.
